On the 21st of February The Museum of Modern Art will open the exhibition "My view to the world” by Azerbaijani artist Assim Rasuloglu. About 30 paintings will be presented at the exhibition.
Assim Rasuloglu was born in 1955 in Sheki city, Azerbaijan. From his childhood Assim Rasuloglu paid great attention to fine art. From 1971- till 1975 he studied in Baku Art College named after Azim Azimzadeh. His student years passed in Belarus State Theatre-Arts Institute at the department of Monumental Paintings. Now he lives and works in Antalya, Turkey. He is a lecturer in Antalya University. Since 1978 Assim Rasuloglu has taken part in different exhibitions. In 1984 he became a member of Union of Soviet Artists.
The world of the artist is filled with feelings and fantasies. The main purpose of Assim Rasuloglu in his works is to search for harmony of shapes in combination of colors and lines. Assim has assured his viewers that this is the way to love, hate even to make them curious or puzzle their minds. Art is for the artist a never ending lookout. He thinks that the name of the work isn’t very important. It’s just a reason to approach the canvas. Art is a life with no ending. In his life of art he has always chosen the difficult as it brings out another beauty. In his works we can find the analysis of content in the color-variety. The color-variety is the window that opens the artist’s heart to the world. In literature the word is speaking, in paintings colors are speaking.
Assim Rasuloglu as well as has a great experience in the group exhibitions. Artworks of the artists are kept in many famous museums and in private collections.
